蝶豆

蝶豆 Clitoria ternatea  Linn . 豆科(Fabaceae)蝶豆屬(Clitoria) 原產地: 熱帶亞洲的爪哇、喜馬拉亞山、印度、斯里蘭卡及摩六甲等地。台灣於 1920 年代引進。 分布: 其原生族群都生長在恆春半島及蘭嶼；小琉球等離島上 藤本，莖圓柱形，蔓性或攀緣性，莖伸長，長 1~5 公尺，具有多數分枝；小枝條細長，全株帶毛茸。 奇數羽狀複葉，互生，托葉小型，披針狀；葉為卵形至橢圓形，葉基楔形，葉尖鈍形，葉緣為全緣，紙質；葉尖微凹或具有短的尖突；表面光滑無毛或表裏兩面散生倒伏性毛茸。 花單生；花萼基生的小苞片闊卵形或圓形，先端鈍，圓或凹頭；裂片披針形，長度為萼筒的一半；旗瓣片闊卵形或倒卵形，鮮藍色、紫色或白色，中心處有一淡黃色或白色斑塊，背面有許多短鉤毛。初夏至深秋開花。 果實為莢果，扁平，長線形，具喙嘴狀突起，內有種子 6~10 粒，成熟時果莢裂開，扭轉。
